The Korean drama 'Resident Playbook' received a warm welcome from the audience. This drama was directed by director Lee Min Soo who is famous for his work Hospital Playlist. Still on the medical world theme, this time Shin Won Hon, who is famous for his work Hospital Playlist, chose Go Youn Jung as the main character in the drama Resident Playbook .

Go Youn Jung plays Oh Yi Young, a first-year OB-GYN resident who will live her life as a resident doctor at the hospital. Shin Won Ho also revealed the reason behind choosing Go Youn Jung as the main character, "The casting was a collaborative effort between me, the director, and the writer," said Shin Won Ho in a talk show for the release of Resident Playbook.

"We have developed an efficient audition process that helped us cast truly talented actors. Go Youn Jung stood out from the start," he added. Furthermore, Shin Won Ho said that Go Youn Jung's striking visuals would be suitable to depict how the life of a resident doctor in a chaotic and emotional hospital life is. "There's often a stereotype when it comes to actresses who look like her.

But she really breaks that barrier. She's very humble," she added. "He even described the way he talks like a fifth-grader. We felt that was very refreshing and it made him a perfect fit for Oh Yi Young," the director explained. Shin Won Ho also praised how Go Youn Jung's acting was able to bring the character of Oh Yi Young to life.

"There was no dispute when it came to choosing Go Youn Jung. Not only is she beautiful, she is also talented," praised Shin Won Ho. "One of her greatest strengths is her ability to maintain a neutral expression while still conveying depth, which is very difficult. She is emotionally versatile, persistent and always willing to learn," she added.
