Kim Namjoon, also known as RM, recently shared some interesting tips on how to enjoy art exhibitions. In a new video uploaded on August 14, 2025 to the Harper's Bazaar YouTube channel, the BTS leader provides a unique insight into the experience of visiting an art exhibition.
When asked for tips on visiting exhibitions, RM casually replied, “There’s no definitive answer.” However, he then outlined three approaches that can be applied. "First, you can learn about the artist's background and exhibition concept to gain an intellectual experience. This might be a bit difficult, but I think it's the most ideal way," he said.
Second, RM suggested simply enjoying the beauty of art. He shared his experience traveling in Europe, "When I saw the works of Van Gogh and Monet, I realized that sometimes we just need to enjoy it because it's beautiful." Finally, RM mentioned a more personal approach, namely "enjoying yourself at the exhibition."
He believes that visiting exhibitions to take aesthetic photos can be the beginning of discovering one's personal artistic taste. “All intellectual exploration begins with a desire to look cool,” he jokes, adding that this habit can lead one to discovering favorite artists.
