Two NCT members, Jeno and Jaemin, are rumored to be branching out into acting through the drama Wind Up. Both are reportedly on the list of actors to be cast for the project. What exactly is the story of Wind Up? And what roles will Jaemin and Jeno play?

On Wednesday September 3, 2025, Soompi reported that NCT's Jeno and Jaemin would appear in a new sports drama titled Wind Up. However, no further information has been released regarding the roles the two members of the hit group will play.

SM Entertainment, Jeno and Jaemin's agency, only provided a brief statement that the two were considering the project offer. "Jeno and Jaemin have received offers to appear in the new drama 'Wind Up' and are considering it," an SM representative told Newsen.

It's no wonder this news has garnered such an overwhelming response from NCTZers. If true, Wind Up will be Jeno's acting debut. Meanwhile, Jaemin has previously shown his acting skills through the drama How to Hate You which aired on JTBC4 in 2019.

His appearance in Wind Up will be his acting comeback after a six-year hiatus from the drama screen. Wind Up is a fantasy sports drama focusing on high school baseball.

The story follows the relationship between a talented high school baseball player and a mysterious transfer student who brings about a major change in his life.

The project will be directed by Kim Sung Ho, the man behind the hit Netflix series Move to Heaven and the KBS drama True Match. Casting has reportedly been completed, and filming is expected to begin soon.
