BTS' Jin revealed that he had considered ending his career with the group after seven years since their debut. Jin made this confession when appearing on Kian84's YouTube content. 

In the conversation, he shared his dynamic career journey as a K-Pop idol. Jin explained that at the beginning of his career, he had plans to have a limited-term career, following the general pattern of K-Pop industry contracts which are around seven years. 

“I used to think I would probably only do this for seven years, and then stop,” Jin said. However, as time went on, his views on his career and role in the group changed. Jin admitted that he is increasingly enjoying the process of making music and performing on stage. 

His growing experience made him more serious in pursuing his profession. “Over time, everything felt more and more enjoyable and I became more sincere and serious about it,” he said. 

In addition, he also emphasized the importance of a sense of responsibility towards the group and the long journey that has been built with the members. According to Jin, the support from fans known as ARMY is one of the most important factors that keeps him going. 

He feels that the appreciation and love from fans motivates him to continue his career with BTS. On the same occasion, Jin also shared his activities so far, including releasing solo works, going on tours, and various other professional activities. 

This shows the consistency of BTS members in maintaining their quality and existence in the global entertainment industry, even after more than a decade of career.

Jin's confession adds perspective to BTS's long journey, which is inseparable from the challenges and personal considerations of its members. Previously, group leader RM also conveyed similar reflections regarding the group's dynamics and sustainability.
