South Korean actor Lee Sang Bo was found dead at the age of 45 on March 26, 2026. Police are still investigating the cause of death. Lee Sang Bo was born in Seoul, South Korea, on October 21, 1981. 

He is known as an actor who made his career debut in 2006 through the KBS2 drama The Invisible Man. During his career in the South Korean entertainment industry, Lee Sang Bo appeared as a supporting or main character in various television dramas and films.

Some of the dramas he starred in include Romance Hunter (2007), Golden Era of Daughter in Law (2007), Man Who Dies to Live (2017), Rugal (2020), Private Lives (2020), and Miss Monte Cristo (2021), which was one of the main roles that made his name.

Besides dramas, he has also appeared in several films, including Secretly Greatly and Mefisto. Throughout his career, Lee Sang Bo has been in the media spotlight after being reported for alleged drug use in Gangnam, Seoul, in 2022.

However, he was cleared of the charges due to no further charges. In early 2025, the actor, who is under the auspices of Korea Management Group (KMG), signed an exclusive contract with the agency to support his continued career.

The news of Lee Sang Bo's death in March 2026 shocked the public, especially as several of his social media accounts mysteriously disappeared, sparking speculation among netizens. Authorities are still investigating to determine the cause of death of the actor known for his role in Miss Monte Cristo.
