Dating show contestant 'Single's Inferno 5' Youn Hyunjae, who was previously known as an office worker, is reportedly preparing to pursue a career in acting professionally.
On April 6, 2026, OUTER UNIVERSE announced that Youn Hyunjae had signed an exclusive contract with the agency, which is home to actors such as Kim Young Dae and Chae Won Bin.
The agency revealed a strong reason behind their decision to recruit Hyunjae. "We noticed Youn Hyunjae's fresh aura and his limitless potential as an actor," said an agency representative.
"More than just a sensation, he is an artist with his own unique color, so we plan to provide full support so that he can build a foundation as an actor through our systematic management."
Youn Hyunjae's name actually started to be known since he won the title of 1st runner-up at the Mister International Korea 2022 event. However, his name really exploded after he appeared on Netflix in the show 'Single's Inferno 5'.
After joining OUTER UNIVERSE, Hyunjae will soon undergo intensive acting training to hone his skills. The agency is optimistic about Hyunjae's career transition, considering his facial features are considered versatile for various roles.
