Tecno Pova 2 is all set to launch in Indian market. The company has now confirmed the launch date of Tecno Pova 2. This device was teased earlier by the company. It will launch on August 2 on e-commerce site Amazon India. There is also a landing page for the smartphone on Amazon India.
According to the Amazon listing, the smartphone will feature a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. The handset will also come with a 48MP AI quad rear camera and triple LED flash. The teaser page also mentions that the smartphone will have a 7,000mAh battery.
As for the specifications, the Tecno Pova 2 is equipped with a 6.9-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display, 180Hz touch sampling rate and a peak brightness of 480 nits. On the software side, the smartphone runs HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11 OS operating system.
Under the hood, The phone is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor. For additional storage, it has a dedicated microSD card slot. The device is powered by a 7000mAh battery and supports fast charging at 18W.
As for the camera department, On the back, the camera features 4 cameras – a 48-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and a 7 megapixel AI camera. An 8-megapixels sensor is located on the front for selfies and video calls.
In terms of connectivity options on the smartphone, it has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou and USB Type. Additionally, sensor on the phone, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Tecno launched its Pova 2 smartphone last month June 2021 in the Philippines market. The single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at PHP 7,990 (approximately Rs 12,200). The price should be similar in India. Black, Blue, and Silver are expected to be its colour variants.
