Redmi 10 smartphone was silently revealed in Malaysia and it is expected to be revealed in other markets soon. Redmi 9 debuted last year in November 2020 in the home town and now its successor is announced today. A few days back Xiaomi accidentally posted a blog revealing the detailed specifications.
Redmi 10 features a 6.5 inches LCD display with Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, and Adaptive Sync refresh rate ( 45Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz ). Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core SoC that comes coupled with Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and an expandable MicroSD card slot.
In terms of camera, the Redmi 10 boasts a quad rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The device is running on Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 on top.
The Redmi 10 comes equipped with a 5000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging but the company bundled 22.5W fast charger in the box and 9W reverse charging support. For connectivity, the phone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 2.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, the phone comes with dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and more.
Redmi 10 comes in three configurations including 4GB + 64GB priced at RM649 and 6GB + 128GB for RM749. The phone will be available for purchase from August 20 in Malaysia. As per the official press release, the pricing for 4GB + 64GB is $179, 4GB + 128GB priced at $199, and 6GB + 128GB for $219. This pricing is might be for Europe or Global Pricing.
