Oppo A53s 5G revealed in India as the most affordable 5G handset in India and it dethroned the Realme 8 5G as the cheapest 5G smartphone in India. It is the rebranded version of Oppo A53 5G that was revealed in China December last year. The device comes with a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display, MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, a triple rear camera setup and more.

Oppo A53s 5G features a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution along with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset that comes coupled with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot.

In terms of camera the smartphone boasts a triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calles, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel front facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The device is running on Android 11 with Color OS 11.1 on top.

The Oppo A53s 5G comes equipped with a 5000mah battery and supports 10W charging. For connectivity, the smartphone dual sim 5G, Wi-Fi 5, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 164 x 75.7 x 8.4mm and weighs 189.6 grams.

As for pricing and availability, the Oppo A53s 5G comes in two configurations 6GB + 128GB for Rs. 14,990 and 8GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 16,990. The device comes in two colour options namely Crystal Blue and Ink Black. The smartphone will go for sale on May 2 at 12pm via e-commerce platform website Flipkart.
