Realme 9i was revealed in India as the new budget 4G smartphone from the Chinese Tech Company. It carries a price tag of Rs. 13,999 and will go for sale on January 22th. The handset features a fast refresh rate punch-hole display, Qualcomm’s octa-core chipset, triple rear camera, large battery, fast charging, and more. Although, the smartphone has been revealed in Vietnam a few days back.
Realme 9i comes with a 6.6 inches IPS LCD display with a Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2412 pixels ) resolution, 90Hz fast refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a Snapdragon 680 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 6GB of RAM with 5GB Dynamic RAM support and up to 128GB of internal storage.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme 9i boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel B&W lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top left corner. In terms OS software, the device is running on Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 out of the box.
The Realme 9i is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 33W fast charging. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard the device sport a Light sensor, Magnetic induction sensor, Proximity sensor, Acceleration sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimensions, the Realme 9i measures 164.4 x 75.7 x 8.4mm and weighs 190 grams.
As for pricing and availability, the Realme 9i comes in two configurations: 4GB + 64GB priced at Rs. 13,999 and 6GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 15,999. The smartphone comes in two color options namely Prism Black and Prism Blur. The device will go for sale on January 22 at 12 p.m noon via e-commerce platform website Flipkart, and realme.com.
