NCT Dream Personnel Chenle and Jeno tested positive Covid-19 on Thursday June 2, 2023. The news was announced by the agency NCT Dream, SM Entertainment through a fan community group. Due to Jeno and Chenle testing positive for Covid-19, NCT Dream's schedule for comeback promotions had to be postponed. 

"Tonight, June 2, 2022, NCT's Chenle and Jeno tested positive for Covid-19. Jeno in the morning felt unwell before the scheduled fan autograph. Then, he tested positive after undergoing the latest test," read an official statement from SM Entertainment, reported by Soompi, Friday June 3, 2023. 

Meanwhile, Chenle was detected positive for Covid-19 while undergoing an antigen swab test with other NCT Dream members. "NCT DREAM first took an antigen swab test and Chenle received a positive result, while the other members tested negative," SM Entertainment continued. However, SM Entertainment confirmed that Chenle and Jeno have completed three doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. 

Since both are positive, all NCT Dream schedules going forward will be postponed. "They suspended all activities and are currently self-quarantining as advised by health authorities," SM Entertainment's statement read.  "As a result, all of NCT Dream's scheduled activities this week, including music shows, radio appearances, and fan autographs, are definitely canceled. 

So we ask for fans' understanding," the announcement continued. NCT Dream is known to be making a comeback on Monday, May 30, 2022, with their repackaged album titled Beatbox. Haechan et al completed their first comeback stage on "M Countdown" before Chenle and Jeno tested positive for Covid-19.
