South Korean actor, Song Joong Ki is ready to star in the latest Korean drama MY YOUTH with Chun Woo Hee. The news was confirmed directly by Song Joong Ki's agency, HighZium Studio through an official statement, on Wednesday August 21, 2024.
MY YOUTH will be the latest Korean drama starring Song Joong Ki after getting married and welcoming the birth of his first child. Now his wife, Katy Louise Saunders is reportedly pregnant with their second child.
The synopsis of the Korean drama MY YOUTH follows the love story of Sunwoo Hae (played by Song Joong Ki) who is late to live a normal life compared to most people and Sung Je Yeon (played by Chun Woo Hee), who has to disturb the peace of his first love in order to achieve his own success.
As the story progresses, the Korean drama MY YOUTH will depict the love story of Song Joong Ki and Chun Woo Hee's characters who support each other in the toughest times of their lives. The two reunite after more than 10 years and begin to create beautiful memories together.
Song Joong Ki plays Sunwoo Hae, a novelist and florist who has just escaped a chaotic life and is starting a new chapter in his life. Sunwoo Hae was once a child actor who shone in his prime. However, due to the greed of adults, he lost his fame and was forgotten by the public. One day, Sung Je Yeon, who holds the key to her past, appears and reminds Sunwoo Hae of the reasons for living that she forgot.
