Minwoo, a member of the South Korean boy group Shinhwa has announced his wedding plans. Minwoo will soon be ending his single life at the age of 45. On Friday July 25, 2025, Shinhwa's Minwoo wrote a letter to fans revealing his wedding plans.
As seen in his Instagram post @mstyle79, Minwoo stated that he had found the woman who would be his life partner. While going through difficult times, Shinhwa's Minwoo realized how meaningful time spent with his family was.
He eventually rediscovered the meaning of family and the desire to build his own family, with his future wife and children. In his letter, Shinhwa's Minwoo asked for the blessings of the Changjos.
The "Perfect Man" singer admitted that the sudden announcement might have surprised fans. However, Minwoo took a long time to decide how to convey his wedding plans.
Moreover, Shinhwa's Minwoo recently completed his first painting exhibition, titled 'PURISM,' which ran in the Gangnam area from June 21 to July 20, 2025. "Once upon a time, I had a vague dream of building my own family, a family where we could support and rely on each other.
And now, after knowing and trusting a very special person for so long, we have strengthened our feelings and decided to become a family," wrote Shinhwa's Minwoo, describing his partner.
"I sincerely hope you will receive this message warmly and bless me with congratulations, because more than anyone else, I want to hear congratulations from Shinhwa Changjo the most," he continued.
Before concluding his letter, Shinhwa's Minwoo thanked his fans for their continued support. Although his wedding date has not yet been announced, the identity of Shinhwa's Minwoo-to-be wife will reportedly be revealed in the latest episode of KBS2's "Mr. House Husband 2."
This makes Lee Minwoo the fourth member of the K-pop group Shinhwa to marry, following Andy Lee, Eric Mun, and Jun Jin. The Shinhwa members debuted under SM Entertainment in 1998.
