Actress Gal Gadot has spoken out about the failure of the live-action film "Snow White," starring her and Rachel Zegler. According to the Israeli actress, political pressure directed at celebrities regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict also affected the film's box office performance.

"I was sure this movie was going to be a big hit. Then everything changed after October 7, 2025," Gal Gadot said in an interview on Israeli television, as reported by Pagesix. She alluded to the Hamas attacks that day, which sparked a global debate that spilled over into the entertainment world.

In a video clip that later circulated widely on social media, Gal Gadot is seen speaking to young people. The 40-year-old explained how the entertainment industry, including Hollywood, puts enormous pressure on celebrities to speak out in certain ways.

"There's a lot of pressure on celebrities to speak out against Israel. I could provide explanation and context, and I often do. But ultimately, people have to make their own decisions," she said. Despite trying to remain calm, Gal Gadot couldn't hide her disappointment.

"I'm sad that the film was so badly affected and ultimately failed at the box office. But that's life, some things work, some don't," she said. The film 'Snow White' itself has been surrounded by controversy from the start.

Besides political issues, the relationship between the main actors was also said to be strained. 40-year-old Gal Gadot reportedly clashed frequently with Rachel Zegler (24) during filming. According to sources, the large age difference and opposing political views contributed to tensions on set.

Rachel Zegler is known for her vocal support of Palestine, while Gal Gadot, who was born in Israel and served in the Israeli military, remains steadfast in her support of her homeland. 'Snow White' failed to reach its $100 million opening weekend target in March. As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, the film actually had a sluggish debut.
