Former VIXX member Ravi recently issued a personal apology to the public after completing his mandatory military service as a social service officer. This follows the controversy surrounding his recent violation of the Military Service Act.

In a post on his personal social media on March 27, 2026, Ravi shared a lengthy message explaining his current status and feelings. He confirmed that his service officially ends on December 13, 2025.

Previously, Ravi's service was interrupted due to legal proceedings related to allegations of evading military service through a false epilepsy diagnosis. "I began serving as a social service officer in October 2022.

However, the court proceedings regarding violations of the Military Service Act have temporarily suspended my service," Ravi wrote. He explained that after receiving the decision and instructions from the relevant authorities, he returned to carry out the remainder of his term of office until completion.

In the message, Ravi reflected on his past actions with deep regret. He admitted to feeling deeply ashamed for having tried to excuse his situation, citing personal circumstances. He also acknowledged that his cowardly choices had hurt and harmed others.

Ravi concluded his statement with a commitment to becoming a better person. "Once again, I apologize to everyone hurt by my wrongdoing. Going forward, I will continue to learn and discipline myself so I can live my life as a better person," he added.

For your information, Ravi was previously sentenced to one year in prison with two years' probation after being found guilty of falsifying medical records to avoid active duty. As a result of the scandal, he decided to leave the group VIXX and cease all entertainment activities.
