JYP Entertainment officially opens its doors to young talents worldwide through an audition event titled '2026 JYP Boy Group Global Audition: The HEAT'. The audition name 'The HEAT' itself was chosen to represent the agency's burning passion and ambition to produce a group that will become a big "HIT" in the global music industry.
This talent search is open to males born between 2008 and 2016. JYP Entertainment is scheduled to visit eight major cities in various countries to screen the participants directly.
The audition series will begin in Osaka on April 18, followed by simultaneous auditions in New York and Bangkok on April 25. Entering May, the auditions will shift to California on the 2nd, Tokyo on the 9th, Sydney on the 16th, Melbourne on the 23rd, and will conclude with a major audition in Seoul on May 31.
Prospective applicants must submit online applications no later than three days before the audition schedule in each city at 11:59 PM local time. The global registration deadline will permanently close on May 28, 2026, in line with the final audition schedule in Seoul.
This audition promotion also captured public attention with its creative poster and teaser video. In the video, JYP showcased a unique concept featuring lively dancing food ingredients, depicting the process of creating a new boy group as a fresh, "perfect masterpiece."
